Hide and Seek (Rune Factory 5)
Title: Hide and Seek
Prompt: bear (an animal - to withstand something)
Fandom: Rune Factory 5
Characters: Murakumo, children
Summary: Murakumo plays with his children.
'Nine ... ten ... twenty-one ... sixty-six ... one hundred! Ready or not, here I come!'
'That's not fair, Dad! Count properly!' a female voice shrieked. But the speaker was nowhere to be found.
Murakumo looked around the plaza. Sharp as his wolfish ears were, he knew that they couldn't have got too far. No further than the immediate buildings, at least, and they'd only be able to get as far as behind or underneath one of them. He prowled about, looking inside the bushes, all the while grumbling, 'Just you naughty lil kids wait. The big grumpy bear is going to get you!'
'Seriously, Dad, we're wolves,' said Ivan exasperatedly. 'Not bears!'
'Aha!' Murakumo lunged into the space underneath the stairs into Lackadaisy. Ivan and Iris screamed as he grabbed them both and began tickling them, but in the next instant, they had got the better of him. They squirmed free and hopped onto his back and shoulders.
'Now you're a dragon, Dad! Let's go flying!' Ivan said.
'What? I thought you said we were wolves!'
'Fly, Dad, fly!'
'Alright, here I go!'
Making sure that his children were securely holding on, Murakumo spread his arms and ran down the street with them, making huge bellowing sounds as he pretended to breathe fire on his surroundings. The villagers of Rigbarth walking to and from home paid them no mind whatsoever. They were used to the innkeeper putting up with anything for the amusement of his children.
