Title: Calm Before the Storm

Characters: Gareth Sieghart, Cecilia Llywellyn
Summary: Before the fight.
Gareth closed his eyes and breathed in the cold mountain air of the Fairy Realm. What a name for what amounted to little more than a small country atop the peaks of the mountain ranges. It sounded like it must be a different world, even though it was accessible to anyone who could be bothered to come here.
This was home ground for Capitani. He had to be careful to make no mistakes.
So why had Cecilia appeared here all of a sudden? Of all the people who could have come with him, Cecilia was the last person he wanted. Not because she was useless, but because she was too precious, he was still not used to having another person outside of his family whom he cared so much about, and he didn't know the extent of what he would go through to protect her. Now more than ever, it was imperative that he kept his emotions in check as a bond magician should.
Things couldn't wait any longer. Gareth held out his hand and Cecilia took it without question. No more words were necessary between them.
'Shall we go?' he said.
'Let's,' Cecilia replied.
